try 29.11 or 29.17 - if you have stability problems with these, then try latest 29.42 whql. However, 29.1x should be faster for you.

its a bit low I must admit. Are you sure u have fsaa and v-sync turned off when running 3dmark 2001?
Also are you doing clean install of drivers each time u change them?

Question.
Is your GF2 MX DDR an MX200 or MX400? (I get confused by all the model extensions) Also, have you overclocked it at all? I use RivaTuner 2 rc10 to low-level overclock both my GF2 MX400 & GF3. My GF2 came default 200/340, I've been running it 24/7 at 240/420 for almost a year now with amazing results. ( 3094 in 3dm2kse on an overclocked 1Ghz celery. )
I'd highly recomend you give RivaTuner a try if you've never used it, a little overclocking can go a loooooooong-assed way towards improving performance...and you're big bottle-neck is DEFINATELY your graphics card right now so any OCing you do should show you a LOT of improvement. (Standard disclaimer that overclocking will void your warranties and might fry your hardware, but what else is new?)

I downloaded today rivatuner and there's a option to disable vsync, i disabled it but having same results. fsaa is turned off i checked the 3dmark2k1 project. Sincerly i dont know if my graphic card is a mx 200 or mx 400 the detonator detects it as Nvidia GeForce 2 MX or NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX/GeForce 2 MX 400. I found a option in nvidia display setting about mipmapping i choosed "best performance" and i get a encrease of 100marks, but i think they're "fake". Am i wrong ?. Once again, sorry at my bad english

make sure your mipmap quality is "max quality". as for fsaa, in 3dmark 2001, on the right side of the window almost at the top, it should say either "fsaa" or "antialiasing" and next to that it should say disabled or off... as for vsync, 3dmark should disable it automatically when you run the benchmark. just to be sure, though, open rivatuner, click on the direct3d button at the bottom, click on the vsync tab, and set vsync to always off.
setting your options to lower quality is just artificially inflating your score, and doesn't solve performance issues. truth be told, though, you aren't far off from the norm for your system. 2000 is avg for gf2mx/200/400 on a thunderbird w/ 133mhz ram... (if you're running an a7v, and not an a7v133, you're running at 100mhz fsb, btw)

Correct, My fsb is @ 100Mhz
Here is the compare url:
http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=3612671
I did that and the results are the same. it's strange because, when i had vsync on, running UT i had about 70-75fps @ 800*600, High, High (default settings), now i have a avg of 100-150fps, dont know why vsync's not resulting in 3dmark2k1.

What is the clock speed?
What clock speed does Riva Tuner say you have?

Those speeds are right for an MX200... But I've never seen an MX200 with DDR.
GF2 MX = 128bit SDR or 64bit DDR (effectively the same) @ 166/166 or 175/183
GF2 MX400 = 128bit SDR or 64bit DDR @ 200/166
GF2 MX200 = 64bit SDR @ 175/143
- So unless that's 32bit DDR he's packing, then either Rivatuner is misdetecting his ram type/speed, or he's running a GF2 MX or MX400 at unnaturally low speeds.
Interesting to see, and it puts his 2000 3dmark score in a whole new light.

Have yea tried overclocking?
FIrst advice would be to get a fan or two, then I'd cut up an old pentium heatsink to throw on your ram. If the heatsink on you GPU is ok toss the fan on there after putting the heatsinks on the ram. Then I'd try overclocking. Shoot for about 200/350 to start, then find your high point.
If'n you don't want to mod your card, I'd still try overclocking it a bit. The worst that could happen is you burn it out, and then you'd have a perfect excuse to buy a replacement....
(I just picked up a VisionTek GF2 GTS-V for my son's box for $50 shipped.... )

Well, as you can see @ this shot, the values are:
Core - 175Mhz
Memory - 143
As u say.. these values are for a GeForce 2 MX, but look at memory bus.. 64-bit DDR, weird huh ? i think my graphic card is a mutant

Oh! Oh! Stupid me!
Creative Lab's GF2 MX had 64 bit DDR at 143... I just remembered! The spec would let them have 166/333 speed 64bit DDR, but those cheap SOBs went for slower, cheaper RAM.
Basically, when comparing speeds, ignore the 64bit part and use the base MHz:
166MHz SDR = 166/333 DDR.
This is because 64bit RAM offers half the bandwidth of 128bit.

BTW: The CL GF2MX DDR was OEM'ed out from MSI, so your card could be an OEM from either company, no difference.
