What's a Transflash Card??

think my age is starting to tell

just got my new phone (which is cute btw), and it's got a slot for a 'transflash' card

is that the same as a mini SD card or no???

googled it, but results just plain confused me

It's even smaller than mini SD, it's often called micro SD.

The transflash card is smaller than a postage stamp. It's probably smaller than your thumbnail. It's like 20 bucks for 128mb. Get one that comes with an sd-card converter (most sandisk ones do) so that you can read the damn thing on your card reader.

Did you get the motorola e815? If so you just got an AWESOME phone.

edit: And worry not about your age, I didn't know what the heck transflash was until I got the e815

I just got an LG U880, nice phone so far

wanted a Samsung Blade, but can't get them in this country yet, so the lg is a stop-gap

and I really hadn't heard of transflash until a couple days ago. Is it new? or am I just behind the times?

I wouldn't know either, but for my Motorola V980. And, as someone has already said, get one that comes with SD adapter and you'll be able to use any SD card reader.

well it did, but I just got mine, and even that pic didn't prepare me for how small it is

I do have abnormally large hands, but even so.... I cannot believe it holds a half gig

it's pretty cool really
