Question Re: Benchmark Scores (differences in)

If systems are exactly the same in comparing 3DMark 05 scores and there are significant differences between them what are possible variables impacting the scores?

Example: I just upgraded to FX55 and am getting at times very different scores than other systems with exact same specs.

Example, my CPU score ranges +/- 20 points around 4000.
Othere systems with same MOBO, drivers, et are getting around an average of 5000.

My averge score at default settings are

overall score: 6280
CPU: 4050

at default settings are these scores realy poor or just in the average?

NOTE TO SELF: must stop obsessing about benchmark scores.

Im Afraid That It Only Gets Worse Before It Gets Better. Right Now Im At A Stage Where My Benchmarks Don't Matter All That Much To Me. I Cannot Compete With This Intel Chip I Have And My Graphics Card Is Like So Last 4 Months Ago() BUT IM SURE THAT WILL CHANGE ONCE I GET NEW RIG. AS FAR AS SUGGESTIONS FOR UR SCORE. HAVE U UPDATED UR BIOS AT ALL? SOMETIMES THEY OFFER ENHANCEMENTS TO SAY THE PCIEXPRESS(MINE DID) THAT WILL IMPACT BENCHIES. ALSO THE VIDEO DRIVERS THAT YOU ARE USING, ARE THEY CURRENT? ALSO HAVE U OVERCLOCKED UR RAM/ CHANGED TIMING VALUES? IF NOT IM SURE THEY PROBABLY HAVE. A LOT OF PPL ON ORB ARE USING VOLT MODS TOO.(I WANNA DO THAT!)JUST TO NAME A FEW.
