"none of the above" means you dont like any of our styles, obviously I would like to hear a style you do like (even if it is a different site).
We will be changing the default skin on this site soon - quite to what im not sure yet, however i would like feedback from the regulars first (hence the poll).
The input so far going via the poll means the majority like the pale blues of pureheaven more than anything.... Also there is no need to panic for those who like darker themes, we will always offer a few of those. This is basically a poll to air your views on our default/main theme. |

OIC.. I am always logged in, so I really don't even know what the front page looks like without being midnight heaven, LOL.
I guess I will have to look sometime to see how it has changed. Last time I saw it default was a few months ago before I logged in where I was and I forgot what it looked like.
EDIT-
Oh it's pureheaven!  I always thought blueheaven was default. It must have changed since a few years ago when it was always blue. Hmm, I don't much care for PureHeaven, a little too bright for me. Looks cool and everything, just too bright.. |

Just in case you didn't notice everyone.. there is a pull down menu at the bottom left of all the pages. Very handy indeed.

Yeah but that doesn't tell you what default is if you are logged in.. but yeah I like that thing, easy to change if you want, and when you are logged in it remembers your changes from just choosing down there. |

Pureheaven has been the default for quite some time, surprised you missed it, as there was quite an active thread at the time discussing the move over from blueheaven. Pureheaven is the same header that is used in all the reviews etc. Blueheaven was the original default but every year or 2 we like to create a new default look for visitors - which is also the main skin when people arent logged in and havent picked a theme. It is obviously the most important theme as many people dont alter the skin, and probably most of the visitors never even select another one. |

always a fan of the darker themes, would be nice to see dark default as pure is a lighter theme, blue was kinda mid, so............  |

Yeah I do notice that some reviews have it- I stay logged in for months, if not years, so I never see the change.. if I did see it, I just didn't notice. It looks good though.
edit- yeah hobo a dark theme would be cool.

Staying with my Crimson Heaven. Red is one of my favorite colors mixed with a Black backround and white text it also makes it easy for me to read. |

Some thoughts:
PureHeaven: Quite alright, but text a bit small and a lot of space is kinda wasted in between posts.
BlueHeaven: My favorite even though I generally prefer lighter backgrounds with black text. Easy on the eyes.
NeonHeaven: Too much darkness and contrast.
MidnightHeaven: As NeonHeaven, though a bit more estetically pleasing.
SkyHeaven: A little too bright and 90's looking.
CrimsonHeaven: Kinda nice contrast mix, for a dark skin.
DistortedHeaven: I like the use of grays and the contrast levels on text. Best readability of the skins with small text. Some overworked design details with patches of excessive contrast by use of bright yellow and bright white. I'd use this if Blue hadn't been easier on the eyes.

i personally use midnight heaven. the reason why i like it so much is because it has the best contrast against the color scheme in my siggy. however, i also do like the color scheme of neonheaven. i would use neonheaven, but the reason why i do not use that theme is simply because i like the way the buttons up top on midnight heaven are set up
User CP > Faq > Members List > Forums > New Posts > Search > Quick Links > Front Page.
if the neon heaven theme had the buttons set up that way, then i would probably use that theme more often than midnight heaven.
EDIT:
ever since i was checking through the different themes, it has been defaulting my theme to the default theme everytime i select a new link within DH.
