hi maddog,
nice mix mate, very clean and clear!!! whow!
not sure about the song though to be very honest! probably my personal taste? it seems like the guitar chords dont fit with the flute parts except at the end?
i think you need more of a definate melody on the flute part that people can follow and that goes with the guitar chords .
i really like the giutar chords and flute untill 25 secs so dont change that! Then it seems to get messy and i cant follow the guitar sequence and the flute doesnt seem to fit with it either??
45 secs to 1 min sounds good again guitar wise but again the flute seems off key at times not fitting with the chords?
might just be me?? hope this all makes sense
trev

hehe -
I find having the same word used 3 times in such a short sentence - adds that extra level of 'profound-ness'.
Also - Im not so famous for:
Q: What do ya get when you combine Jenna Jameson & Betty Crocker?
A: I dunno either - but I'd love to meat her.

Maddogg6:
Man, did you ever play any of the Legend of Zelda N64 games? This remids me of them. They are the best games I ever played in my life, and I'm 42 (Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask).
It was mellow, all right. Somehow I didnt expect such a mellow tune from you, but nothing negative meant. Thanks for sharing.

Actually I have seen those games - but never played them much..
No offense was taken - I wrote that as a tribute to my late father - dedicated to my mother.
She's not much of a metal-head, so.... hehe
It actually has a pretty deep meaning to me (song style and title) and appreciate the compliment.

Finally got around to listening to this one.
It is a little mellow, but generally I like it. The acoustic guitar sounds nice
The part from around the 0:45 to 1:06 mark, gets a little boring (acoustic guitar seems a little repetative there, and after the 0:55 mark, there is not much else happening, so the guitar stands out), but the rest of the song sounds good.

Did you change it? I just listened to it again and it sounds different to me (and as such, my above comments (about the part from 0:45 to 1:06) no longer apply.). Sounds good
