Well, before I came back and read your reply I stumbled upon an SF2 file in the system32 directory (CT4MGM.SF2), loaded it up, and the MIDI sounds I heard when using the Creative drivers seem to be back now. So if I had not come across it by accident, I surely would have after reading your reply.

Thanks to both of you for the help with this. Now if these KX drivers fix the random but thankfully somewhat far-inbetween crashes I've been having while playing audio, I will be a happy man.
