Thumbs Down! Help Igp340m - Ati Bad Company

Anyone can spread modified .inf files for IGP 340M users? I can send original driver .inf files...
Seems that all the "drivermagicians" have get bored just in the times that new products are coming out... And on the other side, ATI keeps sucking with mobility product support... The reasons they claim for not releasing reference drivers are just a big joke...
My next notebook I hope it will come with other brand than ATI.

Er... are you asking for Omegadriver sorts of things, but for the IGP? As best as I can remember, Omega and Cyborg were doing something about the IGPs...

Wink Thank you for interest

Dear Friend ...

I knew that Cyborg and Omega told us that they were going to have a look to the IGP340M support, I even sent them original .inf files. But seems that driver making got out of fashion, just in the moment I purchased a new notebook with that Mobile Radeon ... So I´m just giving a desperate call to anyoner who can help, even if I have to learn how to mod that files myself. Anyway, thank you again for your attention.

It's not a problem - I've been noticing a few newbies coming in and asking questions that rightfully should be answered by Omega and Cyborg, both of whom are very busy and don't post excessively like I do, especially at 3am I wouldn't say that driver making got out of fashion - just they aren't being updated overly fast at the moment... have patience young grasshopper I'm sure they will come up with something... Oh, and btw, why do you need the new drivers? I can't imagine why someone would need the modded drivers, given that ATI puts out drivers that on their own, are acceptably good...

Reasons

Well, im not so newbie in this forum, maybe i did not post a lot, but i have been watching here for long now, i had other ati products previously like an M6 Radeon...

The reason why I want a modded driver is that the performance I´m getting with my bundled notebook driver is a shame, a real shame, my old PIII with the M6 runs lots of times faster than my new P4 with IGP340M. Believe me, 2D acceleration is a real shame, 3 times bad, and no, I dont think ATI is doing a nice job with them Mobile sets, maybe its ok for people who can use Cat 3.0, but that´s not me... Anyway, I understand that Omega and Cyborg has them life to do, that´s why I asked if anyone can show me how to "mod" myself.
Once again, I thank you for your time and words, makes me feel better even with this shitty drivers...
Thank you and peace, and respect for Cyborg and Omega of course...

Well, good luck... I really know next to nothing about modding the drivers - the most I've done is dig around and mess with the settings in dxdiag and the advanced tab for my video card... just out of curiosity, why can't you use the Cat 3.0's?
