Post Your ATi Tool Tray Benchmark
Many of our members are using Ray Adam's ATi Tool Tray app with great success. In the Overclocking section there's a BENCH option and the scores can be compared to other well-known ATi video cards.
Here's the thread to compare YOUR score with others. It might can be used to help Ray with his database and allow it to be updated as needed.
Be sure to BENCH your card at Standard/Default speeds first. Then, those who like to Overclock, do so and post the results here.
*Maybe we can even warrant a sticky post by one of the moderators. *

I'll be the first to post scores:
This is my first test with NO OC'ing:
This one is after pushing the card's speeds and upping the fan speed manually to 85%:

Go to Hardware/Overclocking Settings and then look right beneath the Show 3D Renderer. It says, Bench!

i dont get this benchmarking...
this is at stock.
378/338
this one is when i cheched what the max would be without artifacts.
395/378
but what i dont get is, my score is so much lower then what the other score is with my videocard. the 9800 pro.
how come? and can i get a higher score when my cooling on the card is better? so can i overclock more without artifacts?
and i just noticed.. when overclocking my card, my score is lower then on stock.. or do i do something wrong here?

Dont know about you guys but i dont think this card is useing my X1800XT to its fullest and only running off its 2d clocks lol
becuse when i had a X850XTPE clocked to 600/600 in old system i was getting just over 8k but this is with a X1800XTPE clocked to 700/800 and its lower than what i was getting with my X850XTPE hehe something is fishy.

Responding to your request for a reply here:
Does this happen consistently?
Do you see any increase in the score if you don't overclock as much?

Go to the Overclock tab. Look down just under the Artifact Tester for "Bench".

Hmm, when I use 3DMark06 to benchmark, I bomb, but using this benchmark tool, I don't do so bad. Very odd.
Anyway, here's my results:
Stock 540/587 : 7253.49
OC'd 567/637: 7708.00
I could OC some more, but I don't know where to stop and I don't want to hurt anything.
How do you guys get the screenshots?

those scores are way low and you should do a complete uninstall of drivers with dh drivercleaner pro 1.4 and make sure all drivers and bios are up to date.and then try it again.if you are not one of the lucky ones with a temp sensor on your 9800pro,then is your card hot to the touch on either the back right above the core or on any of the ram.make sure you follow the instructions of dh dc4.there are a bunch of reasons for this type of issue.
