Free Gmail Invites!

Hey everyone. I still have 100 Gmail invites to giveaway. I don't know what the hell to do with them all. If anybody wants one, let me know on my blog. I have plenty to go around.

I've got like 50 invites left, so if ya'll need any.

EDIT: I know why they have it as an invite only, it's to limit the abilities of spam email accounts. For instance, I have tons of yahoo spammers (People with yahoo accounts that do nothing but spam other yahoo accounts). Maybe this is a simple, yet effective way to limit the spammage.

Free services ain't free and thier not makeing thier money from
just advertiseing banners. I still like to be the only one that reads
my email, thanks!. Isnted of leting spam bots scower over you emails
to help key in advertiseing. In the end your aiding advertisers & solictors.
Also ever wonderwhy its invite only? again it marketings research going on
like I said. In the end the data collected will end up in the hands of the same
kind of people in the end send you spam becouse you "oped in" AKA when
they bought you name of a spamers list lol

He's got point... they advertise based on words in your emails and whatnot..

As far as a non-ISP email (free mail) it is the best for me though.. It gets less spam than any other e-mail I have ever used. I would still like to be able to filter better.. And I think it has limitations like no POP3 or something like that. Not sure exactly what it was - I forgot.

it's always hard to make out neon's jibberish, actually this one's more legible than most...
the first point is that google have bots reading your email to find out what you like in order to customize ads for you, and who knows what else...
the second is that they still use the invite system because they want to know who your friends are and what they like.
All this makes up very valuable customer information, which they horde and use. Combined with their search tools and other newer services (think: whenever you search, google checks your gmail account cookie and thus knows even more about you) google is getting powerful indeed.

Yeah but you can turn off advanced features in the google bar (if you use that like me).. and you can also log out of google.. Does it still track your searches then? It must track IP's and send info about every search if it does, and also if you turn off the advanced features I don't think they do that.
