I Have P4 3.6 1GRAM X700 PCIE
I did notice some lags during the game ,the game runs great , but very rarely every 6/7 minutes the game freeze for 1 second , like lag
can somebody help me?
did u notice my problem ?

this game just lags for all people that i know.i did a fresh install and optmized and tweaked everything i know how to and still get some lag.mp is almost worthless unless you turn some stuff to minimum or off for me anyhow.maybe the next patch will fix this game for the mid end systems like mine.that x700 is probably the bottleneck for your system.

Well there some bugs with the dynamic lighting they are still working out like if yu go into a new area it will freeze for like 2 min. wait paitently for like 5 min if it freezes. If that doesn't fix it I dunno what would help.

i turned everything to minimum and it still happens most times when i turn corners. Hopefully a 1.2 patch will fix it. I only get it in SP though not MP

What I don't like about MP is the amount of shots that don't register. Many times I have faced off with a nailgun versus a guy with assault rifle, and of course he wins, but when he goes to go pick up my medpack, I see a nail sticking out right beween his eyes.

i was just looking around some forums and this game does not like oced anything.i returned my system to stock settings and it did not help me, but it might you.

i found that to, i get artifacts even with the slightest OC...

you could also try the NGO 81.85 drivers for nvidia they are the best for me

The G2A2 assault rifle is the best for multiplayer online. Your shots are registering fine but it takes more than one nail to the head to kill someone. If you are good enough with the Penetrator (nailgun) you can take out any foe with ease. Just remember to zoom in, aim high, and track their movement. I personally think this game registers very well when compared to Source type games and most new multi games that are out. Onloy thing is no anti cheat : (

www.tweakguides.com has one of the best databases of game tweak guides and os tweak guides.they just released there fear tweaks a few days ago.there are going to be many more for this game im sure.if you dont like this one just google it.im sure there is most of the same info here at dh in the gaming forum and in the os forum.each system is different so just tweak and play and keep the best out of your findings.thats the fun of it all,for me anyhow.

PS. I get the same lags on my 7800gt ex.... But found it nothing serious as they are only slightly noticeable.

they put so much time and cash into this game that i dont think they are going to let this issue go.it could become a great franchise and i would expect a giant patch real soon.if they dont get on it quick they could lose alot of interest and this game could be an expensive bookend.i bought the limited ed and spent 55.00 and i am upset that this could happen.we should all get a refund if they dont fix this game within a month.

the patch came and went and nobody cared because it doesnt really fix anything performance related.it preps the game for the upcoming release of the sdk pack and some other crap but nothing that helps people want to play this UNFINISHED game.later
