Problem with PCMark04

I just did a windows reinstall last friday, complete format, one of those that happens to you every 3-4 years. Systems is up and running great, so good in fact that I'm trying for the amd stock title. However, pcmark will not finish. It fails at the divx test every time with the same error, "Initialization Failed" I've tried a couple of different codec's and nothing seems to work. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you actually downloaded and installed the latest DivX?

EDIT: BTW, the latest PCMark is 05....not 04.

Tried a couple of different divx codecs, going all the way back to 5.1.1 up to the newest 6.0.3, same problem. WME 9 is installed and the WMV compression test works fine. The reason I'm using 04 instead of 05 is because the fastest rig comp. still uses 04. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything but WME, even removed the Xvid codecs I had installed in case they were causing a conflict.
