Wow that was fast SFOSOK!
Seriously I think this is the best month for PC games I can remember in years.
What do people think about Fable? I've never played it, graphics looked good and its apparently popular. Last RPG I enjoyed was Baldur's Gate II ... Morrowind I gave up on about 5 hours in since it got so repetative.

COD 2 for me, just love those games. The game I am waiting for the most is Elders Scrolls 4: Oblivion. I hope it makes the cut in november, but I bet we'll see it in december or later.

Baldur's gate 2: Best game, period. For me at least.
I played it so much, the discs wore out.
Been trying to play it again, but I need a new copy.
As for this month, maybe CoD2. Maybe. Gotta wait for others to review on it.

I think the poll ought to be modified to add an option for "SFOSOK's Fist" (or at least "None of the Above").

i don't think that i can edit the post without deleting the votes. is some mod is smarter/wiser/more powerful than I, adding "SFOSOK's Fist" and "None of the above" is a good idea.

I enjoy FEAR alot right now... The single is just awesome.. Im not even half done, i mean I dont play 10h a day but 2-3 straight is enough for a game per day for me.. Anyone of u (who got he game) was like ""wtf?" when those assasin "ninja style" came out of the room up the stairs the 1st time? Man, I was like : "Damn dude, WTF is that?" Damn scary game lolll.... since then, Im always : "C'mon you Assasins Ninja!" Im always on the point of freaking out when I turn a corner and see one of those thing just running at me! lollll

Good point. I've never played it, but I know the first one had some hardcore fans. I did a quick polling of Futureshop.ca's new releases and the splash page at Gamespot of PCs to make sure I didn't miss anything.
Looking at this lineup of games, I think its fairly clear that Day of Defeat was indeed rushed out early. DoD is a good game, but probably will wither/get missed because of COD2, FEAR, and QUAKE4 if it came out after. THe original Day of Defeat had a very slow uptake for similar reasons, but eventually built up a loyal following.

GREAT MONTH! When oh when will they learn to stagger the releases over the full year and not the last few months?!
Suffering Ties That Bind will get overlooked, and probably Serious Sam 2 with COD2, FEAR, and Q4 dropping this week. And yes, Fable is worth a look, they tuned it for PC and it's much better.

I gave Quake 4 the nod. After playing it till 3 a.m last night I have to say that the wait was worth it. Great fp shooter and the Stroog are really bad ass Major fun with awesome graphics and sound. Haven't play FEAR or SS2 but they are on the HD and waiting thier turn but Q4 is the king of the current crop so far. AND, too keep Q4 from going by too quickly, just play it on HARD.

yeah quake 4 is a total winner in my book as well, such a great achievement from ID after the abysmal Doom3.

Actually, ID didn't develop the game, Raven did. I guess ID oversaw development, and its based on the Doom 3 engine. Just being picky maybe, carry on.

You are right, my bad. I guess raven did all the hard work of actually making a playable game with the ID goodness !

Well just look at Raven's other games. I knew Quake 4 would rock the moment I saw Raven was at the reigns.
