Pissed Anti-Aliasing problems on AIW 9800 Pro

I seem to have a problem with Anti-Aliasing way too often on many of today's latest games, including but not limited to, "Bloodrayne 2" and "Advent Rising". I simply can't enable Anti-Aliasing on these games at all, even when overriding the "Application Preference" setting and setting AA to the highest. I've tried the latest drivers from ati.com and have even tried the latest Omega drivers, but to no avail. Any ideas?

My system specs:

CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (NewCastle)
MoBo - Asus A8V Deluxe - Socket 939
Memory - 1GB DDR PC3200 400MHz Micron / Ultra Technology
Video - 128MB DDR ATI All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro
HD - Maxtor 120GB+80GB
PSU - Aspire Clear-Top Dual-Fan 500W
CD-RW - LG 52x32x52
DVD-RW - BenQ 16x DL
OS - Windows XP - SP2

Some games don't support it, so raise your resolution instead and that may work.

If it doesn't work even when forced, then thats an indication its not supposed to.

That's not true, because I know for a fact that these 2 games do support anti-aliasing. On another computer with a GeForce card, anti-aliasing works fine with these games, but not on my computer.

Try disabling Catalyst AI then because it has some app specific optimizations.

Besides the anti aliasing methods that nVidia uses are different from the ones ATI uses so the point may be moot, because it works with one brand doesn't mean it'll work with another.
