Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas retail patches v1.01

Rockstar Games has issued the first patches for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, upgrading the US, European/Australian and German editions of their free-form third-person action sequel to version 1.01. This promised "No More Hot Coffee" release neutralizes the infamous "Hot Coffee" modification, and also adds support for 720p and 1080i HDTV resolutions along with fixing a few crashes, gameplay issues and a couple of other bugs.

i think ill stay away if there is no hot coffee, it makes the game a lot more fun and real

Lol, I don't understand how you could ever compare GTASA to reality. It is probably the most far from real game I have played. Not to mention crappy because you have to be some dumbass black thug who listens to rap and acts like a pimp. They should have made it with an Italian mobster.

wow should we have some honkie in a suit running around with guns saying cheesy catchphrases, womanizing to a minimum? wow thats been done too many times. learn to try different things. mafioso style is still hype, but there are true stree thugs who can tell and even more deadly story

No I just wish games weren't influenced heavily by rappers and "thugs". Its not that great of a game. And your the one who compared it to reality. No game is anywhere near reality. Hot Coffee mod is for losers who can't get a girl. The current "Gangs" of LA are not really gangs at all. Gangs operate private businesses in order maintain a chokehold of the surrounding area. The so called "Gangs" of LA are not really gangs, they are mindless thugs, and to make a game about them is really disappointing. Truthfully I wish I could go up and down California and destroy every single "gang" in the state because they are leeches of society. And most often feel they have a right to abuse women. Same with anyone who condisder's themselves a "pimp". I say keep the abuse and exploitation out of video games. GTA gets boring after about 15 min for because its just the same crap with more mini games this time. No strategy no game.

Indeed, anyway, the patch seems good, not messed anything up as yet, I just hope they can get some texture fixes in there a bit

Game companies are really slow these days. I stopped playing this game with 85% completion over a month ago despite audio problems.
