nice new sig tasty, i think you should perhaps add colour to the light and make it get smaller as it goes along the beam, so the ball on the image has the biggest light (the source of light) then it runs down the beam and fades.
interesting aporach at the request of jeff, i never thought of something like that, i think it needs work on the transitions.
man it feels like i am just dissing you, sorry dude. gimme a hug! (welcome back)

nah nah... i like constructive criticism... I know they're not great... just thought i'd try my hand at flash lol... only got it today and that thing for jeff was my first animation lol!!! Trasitions definitely need work... and I think i could have found some better text aswell... was just putting my idea accross in a very rough form lol
As for my sig... I like the idea... I'll see if I can do that... is there an easier way to do it in flash? I have been making each frame individually in photoshop and adding them together in flash (except for Jeff's... where I just slowly moved one onto the other lol)

edit: lol.... i quoted just after you edited and didn't notice the edit lol... whoops
brown one's more retro lol

I agree, it suits the sites tyle better, and I just prefer it
I wish I could make flash, its so powerful when you master it, but I'm rubbish at things like that, too fiddly
Edit : I thought as much, anyway, my points still stands, hehhe,

not too hard to do simple animations when you get used to the basics of actually finding the right buttons to animate it... took me about 15-20 minutes to make that sig for Jeff and it was the first time I'd ever used flash. The way i do it... like this sig of mine... it's 10 frames... I've just made each frame individually in photoshop... using my original sig + a filter "lighting effects" and then pasted each image into flash and saved it as an animation... if you have a little bit of spare time it's quite easy to get the basics... but to master it must take a longggg longggg time... like photoshop lol... i'm still an amateur with pshop and been using it quite a bit for nearly 4 years now.

yes that looks much better (proud i came up with the idea ) i am not too good on flash but perhaps you could make a sphere which has a radial gradient fill from white (centre) to white opaque (outside) so its just a glowing ball, then made a 'motion tween' and then you set one frame (the first so big and on the left) then the last (small and on the right) and it will fill the rest in for you over how ever many frames you want. i assume that would work, but i am new to flash just like you

hmmm might be worth a try.... but i think that just doing the frames individually in pshop is giviing a better result.... I guess that would work out well if i wanted to have a very focused beem of light with no dissipation to the rest of the picture... but i like how the omni directional light in pshop works. However, say I wanted to just mess around with some spotlighting or something... then that might work... will have to play with it tomorrow lol when it's not 1:20am... tad tired

is there anyway i can have a flash siggy? Something with nVidia and Intel interleaved with each other fighting against AMD and ATI and nVidia and Intel beat AMD and ATI. Not a fanboy of any company, but i just want that in my sig cuz that's what I have in my rig ATM.

Mods & gold members only....
Ok as i had asked a little while ago in the offtopic post and nothing came about.is one of you talented guys prepared to make a flash sig for me....
I for one don't have a real preference of the style,id like to be surprised as to what you will come up with.user-name & a image based on a mig-31 is needed.(some of you may remember the one made by PJ).
