Printer reviews
Just wondering if it is too far outside the box to suggest doing reviews on printers?

DH Reviews, or user posted?
I'd say the best printer review, would be a long term test by someone who owns it... how well it REALLY works.

I personally spent a while trying to look for a good printer. I'd like to see printer reviews but I don't see it bringing as many hits as case and videocard reviews.
I settled on the Epson R300 but I couldn't really get any real good information on it other than user reviews saying ITS THE BEST. I'm a bit finicky when it comes to my print outs so I would have loved to find some printer reviews/comparisons.

I have been using HP products for some time, ironically they only last a few years, either because they fail or just wear out, for the price they are a bargain. Right now I use a Canon PIXMA, which I have spent a tidy sum on ink for, but it produces beautiful color, and even manages to reproduce my color correctly when I print my photoshop work.

Nice buy Jeff, the PIXMA printers from Canon are better IMO than the epson printers.
Anyway back on track, im not sure we would have the time or resources to do really indepth and high quality printer reviews. we would need a guy with at least 10 printers for a few months and unfortunately the only reviewers I would trust with something that indepth are busy for the forseeable future.
Nice idea though!
