Sure enough, I hunted down a page on configuring the KX drivers for use with Cubase that should also work with my situation. Now I'm unsure why there's a note in the documentation about issues with the routing on the SB006X cards that are hardware related.

I figured out the issue. I started running into some other issues including some blue screens of death and memory stack dumps. It turns out that when I had connected my OmniStudio USB to the second usb port on this box, and it re-installed the drivers for use with the second usb port, it set it as the default card and the changed the audio acceleration and quality settings for sound on the box. As a result, this prevents the KX drivers from functioning properly.
I figured this out after I'd re-installed my whole OS and then installed the KX drivers. They threw up a message about not being able to reset the device correctly due to settings in the control panel, and to read the documentation to see what I need to set. I found the information in the readme.html page and was able to resolve the issue. Prior to reading the readme and setting the hardware accelleration to full and the quality to best, I was also still not able to launch the ASIO control panel. After changing these settings and being able to run the device reset, the ASIO control panel now launches.

Thanks for both the suggestions and the response. I doubt I'll add both cards for moment as I don't feel the need for the extra inputs at this time.
