xbox 360. c'mon now it has an R520 in it

I believe it has an R600 according to the article on teamxbox.com.

And since there isn't much for info on the ps3 or the Revolution, I can't really say what I'll pick, but chances are it will be an xbox.

Both. That way I just buy the game for the console it plays/looks better on (I'm single, have no debt, and my money is MY money.. so there

).

Of note, where's the Nintendo Revolution in this list? I mean, the thing is gonna be backwards compatible with Cube (sure as hell can't say the same for the Xbox 360.. damn Microsoft... make an emulator then!!), so that counts for something... doesn't it?

I'll have to see all of the consoles before I decide, and even then I'll have to wait until the first price drop before I'll be able to afford one.

I will wait to see what kind of games will support each console
and who can provide the greatest graphics from the 2

The one that has the most childish games\or less attractive games will be the loser for me

Until now Xbox has more mature kind of games from PS2

from what i understand, the ps3 will have a G70 GPU in it; or so i've heard.

these consoles now look too expensive, sure it has everything we can ask for almost (even watercooling) but if its gonna be $1000 CDN thats too much. i wouldnt piss my pants in public for that money (maybe a little more

)

Probably neither, I've never owned a console, and see no reason to get one.

However, I'd consider getting the X-box and sticking linux on it if that processing power is as good a deal as it looks it may end up being, and if MS doesn't lock out any means of getting linux on it...

I didn't know that the Xbox 360 wasn't backwards compatible. If that's the case, that wasn't a smart move. Tsk Tsk Bill! Anyways, mostly likely it'll be a PS3, although if it's cost an arm and leg, I think I'll forget about it. Also looking to see what's up with the Revolution, because I'm taking of getting a used GameCube for the new Legend of Zelda coming out. Don't know if I should wait until the revolution comes out or not...

Meh, I used to be a PC fanboy.

xbox 360.

easy to develope on.. so more games and games which will be easy to port from pc or to pc.
better online service (already well established)
intigration with window

PS3 mhh very nice but xbox 360 just seems better.. not hardware wise but everything else

maybe both but the thing is I need to get a HDTV

which will be still about £3000 next year.

I saw a HDTV demo by the way with that 1080I (is that correct) resolution on a 42inch plasma.. its like looking out of a window... totally amazing.. cant wait till everything is hdtv in a few years time

PS3 because of the games. XBox360 if I didn't want to upgrade my PC anymore and just play games. Besides, if you have a great PC, chances are a lot of games made for X-Box should be coming over to PC since MS is pushing for the two platforms to work together.

According to Tim from Digital Extremes was saying it was easy to develop for the PS3 as well. I don't know how much weight you should put on it though.

P.S. - This console war is still a three way dance, even though the third partner looks like it will need to take a breather or two between rounds.

Well I've Owned past Sony Consoles and they were all Pretty Good in their time So I'm thinking of Maybe Getting the PS3 But I still Dont Know Since I left the Whole Console thing Behind when I Built My Computer.

Last non-portalbe console I bought was the SNES.

I'm not really seeing anything to make me want to purchase another. I understand the excitement about them. But as of right now I see 1999 all over again. I really just want it to be over.

Consoles will again show how they can be a great source of shallow, linear gameplay. There are a few shining examples that break the trend, but they are too far apart to justify the pricetag for an overpriced graphics pusher.
