I don't have one. I don't have enough space to install a 5.1 system, so I'm only interested in getting one to reduce the CPU load in games, which I might do some day, but it's not a priority at the moment.

Not a fanboi either. I do have an Audigy2 ZS for gaming. Thinking of getting the Klipsch 5.1 Ultras to complement it

Been using the audigy2 since it became available and it has served me well.I'm no creative fanboy but they do make good soundcards for gamers.

Not a fanatic, I really enjoyed SoundStorm on my last rig. I do like my Audigy 2zs. It is far superior to my current onboard solution. I really enjoy the sounds in games that support Eax. EQ2 supports both eax 3 and 4, with eax 4 enabled the sound is quite amazing. Too bad I found the game itself lacking.

Reluctant Audigy2 user here. Couldn't find a more viable product in its price range when I recently switched out my very old Live card, event hough I did not feel like going with Creative again due to their drivers. When its time for Creative to ditch Audigy2 support like they did with the Live series, I hope that the kX project is still around to save me again. I'll even give the next bigger kX release a chance on account of being irritated by the Audigy2 software with sliders that often does not stay in place and settings that are sometimes lost. EAX may be nice but I prefer to have the basics working flawlessly before caring much about 3D effects in games.

Had my Audigy Gamer for about 3 years now and see no need to upgrade. I do most of my gaming with a headset and my Gamer does fine with that. Do not listen to any music on my PC so a higher end card is not needed.

I have swapped out a Fortissimo III 7.1 for a creative Audigy 2 ZS just recently, there is an improvement in the sound quality but at the expense of having the bloatware creative drivers installed whereas the creative drivers were 61/2 meg and worked a treat.
BTW the Fortissimo III 7.1's staying for a new rig I'm buidling for my girls, too good to sell on IMO.

I don't really like Creative all that much to tell you the truth. Actually.. I really like my M-Audio Revolution 7.1 (after I got it working properly that is )

I have an Audigy, will upgrade to Audigy 2 ZS when I'm able. I think the Creative cards are nice for gaming, and I like gaming and music production. The kX Project works wonders for the Creative compatible cards and music production. It even has GSIF support.
I reckon I'll be using a Creative card for some time to come. Although I was really upset with the Creative drivers when they first came out for the Audigy. The potential for music production wasnt there at all, and that's why I bought the sound card. Thank goodness for the kX Project! Still, EAX 3, and 4 gaming is really nice, so the Creative sound card and EAX driver support serves a purpose for me.
