Default Post whats what

Hi,

I.ve been using the file P14900.130 for a few weeks now. It is the PAL version clocked at 250/200. Seems to be bios 7.008. (can be easily edited to be 250/250)

They sent it to me for use on my Sapphire 8500LE 128mb. Works well, better than the previous one i had (i.e. a little faster :-)

I will take a look at making it work on ATI boards and getting the vendor ID correct.

(This is for 64MB boards right?)

I will also make it 275/275.

OK I have it set for ATI Vendor ID, and it is clocked at 275/275, I will just look into a couple more things and then post it.

I didn't test it as I only have my AIW8500DV here, but it should work fine.

Cyborg, I have installed it and started using it and all I can say is Thankyou VERY much.

I've created a thread called 7800 Bios where I've started detailing findings.

It was horrid. I had to restore my backup while using a very garbled screen. I'll never use that bios again.

Drivers work. Nothing amazing but they do work. No troubles, but no improvements. I will keep them on my vid card.

Would this be applicable to European version?

Indeed JT2046. You only need to get Radedit and modify the bios for PAL instead of NTSC.

Erm, I used a 64 meg BIOS without a problem before. Of course, I used an overclocked 128 meg BIOS now, but a 64 meg has and should still work.

I tried the modded bios for retail 8500 64ddr and maybe u already know that it gaves me a 128 ddr and i can t use the ATI driver set just the generic

I wonder if the problem concerning driver would be in the title of the bios cause there is no more : RADEON 8500 113-85702-103 BIOS but just a number that might be a Sapphire one

But for me the biggest problem is that this is not a bios for 64 ddr and many people would be glad if u could something

Thanks in advance for your reply

PS : my card is a retail 8500 64ddr 275/275 with latest driver before u ask

First off Thank you Cyborg and Omega for all the work you guys do giving us drivers!!
They work great in every game and at least stabilize the framerates in eq to the point I can play in Luclin Also Thanks for including refreshlock it also helps out in EQ!
I could not get the 7008 bios to flash kept getting the 0FL01 error
But did install the new Gigabyte bios with no problems. They seemed to clear up the fuzzy text somewhat with AA enabled, and your latest drivers installed without a hitch. I was wondering if using the G-byte bios would disable some of the retail features on the card ?
Haven't had time yet today to really see if I've gained any performance from the bios flash in eq ..I'll have to wait until tonite and give it a thorough 5 hour run

I'd got same problem to install 7008 bios. But if u try one more, u can flash the 7008 bios.
it's very simple.
first time, u may meet the error message OFOL1. then press reset system.
so monitor power will be off without signal. but don't be sigh..if u can flash the bios in the dark screen, u will be able to make it!. so it is recommend to write the method to flash bios before u meet the dark screen.
By the method, now i'm using 7008 bios..but..^_^..it's not better then 7004 bios.
