Can I record cd audio input?

My plan is to set up a system for live shows, so i was going to drill holes in the side of the case and mount four 1/4' jacks on the side and wire them internally to the cd in and aux in.

Can someone help me set up to allow these to be set up as my only two recording ones and not to play the unprocessed back to me.

on another note anyone know where i would run the ground of the 1/4' jacks to? since the cd audio cables i have only have 2 wires, one left and one right..?

System Specs

CD audio cables should have 3 or four wires, with one or two grounds
but to record seperately, you can only use Line In and Aux In on an Audigy series card
