Unscrewing ATI fan on X800

I have been trying to get the original ATI fan out from my card with no luck. The thread on the screws are gone now

Anyone got any ideas how to losen the screws up? Would it be possible to unscrew it with pliers?

Problem is my card it sitting idle at 50C with the fan running at 100%!

If you have a Dremel, you can grind the screw heads off. This would be easiest.

Are you doing a Silencer 4? I just put one on mine, with fantastic results.

Decided to take the risk and unscrew it with a plier. Everything went well I think
Temps are down by 12C immediately on idle!
