help for best configuration ?

Hello everybody,

Wich of the folowing setups should i use for best sound quality?
1. Preamp -[Analog]- DAT Sony PCM R300 - [SPDIF] - SBlive
2. Preamp -[ Analog ]- SBLive

All devices are set to 48khz
I have an SBlive Rev 4 (i found rev number from device manager), so as i read b2b doesnt work for me so the signal trough spdif is reconverted anyway.

it depends on the quality of your ADC, and external one should have a better quality than the Live!'s internal one, but you will have to check for yourself
