F.e.a.r.
Has anyone here seen the 14-minute gameplay video for F.E.A.R.? If not, go to Fileplanet and check it out, the game looks incredible, giving Doom 3 a run for its money with graphics, gameplay, story, freakiness, and just about everything else. That game is definately going to turn some heads.

Looking forward to this game. It's been awhile since we've heard from Monolith Productions
GameSpot has lots of stuff on F.E.A.R.
Streaming this video from GameSpot and it looks like F.E.A.R will put HL2 to shame. I'm loving the video! It's like Doom 3 meets HL2 with a sprinkle of first person Max Payne and Resident Evil.
P.S - I love use of vulgar and excellent vocals

I wouldn't imagine anything too taxing, I mean it's Monolith. They've made some of the greatest engines. Remember NOLF2? Ran great and looked great.
What I'm especially pleased to see is the touch of Japanese style they're using once again. Remember Shogo: MAD? Great shooter with robots! Who can resist robots?

Shogo: MAD was, and still is, one of the best video games EVER made. Mech type game play = Mechwarrior, FPS game play = FPS, city fighting = that godzilla fighting game and monsters attack, this game gave ideas for DOZENS of games.
Man, I so wish they had made SHOGO 2

Massive did that. But unlike Massive, Monolith actually makes good games with their engines

   ..... very nice...!!!
nedd some inprovment though... when you shoot people instead of blood spattering the wall you should actually be able to see the guts come out on the floor.... just a thought...would be cool.

i mean more realistic, like its actually happening and the blood flows accross the floor and when u walk through it u make footprints, and the sound of the guts spilling out, and if you shoot them in the head you should see brains..... Not to much to ask is it

I had seen this Movie some months back on one of the CD's of a MAG.. And i was sold instantly. This game is going to blast everything away imho. They only game that could stop it is S.T.A.L.K.E.R as i don't think SeriousSam 2 or the new Quake game can beat this one. It's based on the evolved NOLF-2 engine and man did that engine run smooth..

This game looks excellent! The graphics ain't too perfect (textures sorta bland but hell) but since it's monolith, it'll be an outstanding engine
Massive has made a few good games... Massive entertainment... Ground control? lol

I loved in Shogo how the blood would flow out all over the place. you could make a pool of blood with enough enemies.
i mean...uhhh...I dont like such sick violence...yeah thats it
