Help Softmodding a 9550

Im trying to Flash my Hynix 256MB Ati radeon 9550 into a Hynix 5.0 Gcube Radeon 9600 Pro by following the instructions here http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/...ng/vidcard/107
and also folowing the Flash INstructions here

But Since im new here I dont really know what they're asking me to do when it comes to the actual flashing, can anyone give me a DETAILED n00bish guide to how to flash this card, im having certien problems with actually making a boot disk.

I can help you but are you really sure you want to be doing that mate?
This is not risk free you botch it up in any way and your card is scrap.....

I've read many of the articles and im guessing it will work, but what you say is true ill leave my the card the way it is, but by all means ill do the softmod and when I mean by flashign I mean flashing the bios

EDIT: I found how to flash the BIOS, Since im a little afraid that this might wreck my card I jsut want to know if anyone tried this and it worked

i have a radeon9550 with 256mb samsung memory and i wanna do that too, help!!
