mkk will become famous soon enoughmkk will become famous soon enough
System Specs

Unless it for some reason does not fit your motherboard/case (some coolers take up a huge area) then yes.

IF the heatsink is built for a socket A chip.... and your using a Socket A chip...reguardless of it's model/make/speed.... whatever, it'll work.... You can use High end heatsinks on a low end model.... JUST DO NOT DO IT THE OTHER WAY AROUND..... i personally don't like the smell of boiling silcon...

It depends on the cooler too, some coolers don't fit in certain motherboards like mkk stated. If you'd like more confirmation about all of this, mention the name of the cooler you're looking into.

Get a thermalright SLK cooler. the nice big beautiful copper one. God I have wetdreams about that one.

no seriously its actually a REALLY good cooler that I've used. My temps are around 32C for a 2800+ OCed to 3200+. I can OC it more but its pretty powerful already.

I would look into either a thermalright or a zalman.

i'm guessing with the thermalright's u need to get your own fan for them? or are they fanless heatsinks?

you choose your own fan ( i think that's better anyway)

you can take a look at the different models here:

Though actually for you you can run it fanless. My thermalright is really good fanless. Dont expect to be doing any overclocking of course, but its pretty good fanless.

Stay away from the V12, I know from experiance. Either go SI-97 or SLK series (both thermalright). The Zalman coolers are also good.
