There's only so far you can much the performance barrier with existing hardware, I think they should work on fixing bugs and producing a better all round experience for more users. Not many people have the graphics drivers as the deciding bottleneck in their system. I think bugs would be a better focus.

I think they should be working on all of those points, perhaps a more detailed 3d preview that users can see the difference between the settings they choose easily... as for skins I couldn't careless so long as it doesn't hog memory and look shit

Guys I think you may be misinterpreting the "more performance" option.
What we were interested in is the "more performance" of CCC. I.E. CCC loads up faster, changes options on the slider faster, loads skins faster.
It does not mean "more performance" as in the FPS sense, or faster benchmarks.
Maybe Zardon can clarify in the options that it should be implyied "faster CCC performance (not faster benchmark/game performance)"

Bug fixes is a priority, especially with the whole PunkBuster issue which I've verified myself
If I could rank the priorities, the next thing would be the CCC's performance.

tell you what id really like, but not sure how possible it would be. if the cats could somehow monitor framerate when using D3D or OGL and when fps goes below say 35 that it automatically reduces the quality settings. for us who have older cards its sort of pointless putting on antialiasing in new games, even when in some scenes it could run ok, but just others it would be unplayable. if the drivers could turn off aa (or perhaps lower texture detail although i guess this probably couldnt be done without reloading the level) without the gameplay being affected so you could get continuous gameplay then that'd be really cool. erm, does that make sense? anyway, i love my card and have done since i bought it with virtually no problems no matter what i do to it, so the driver team must be doing something right, anyway, to the poll:
dont use CCC as im perfectly happy with the normal control panel and never felt like changing, have broadband so size aint a problem, 3D previews - a CCC thing again, bug fixes - well never have anu issues i need fixing anyway (guess im lucky) so it has to be more features i guess ;-)

Fixing bugs should always be the first priority as some bugs have, in the past, made games unplayable. As for the CCC i would like to be given the option to take the preview out as that would speed things up enormously.

I want it to be bug free first. Next I want new features as well as over all great performance from drivers. As far as CCC performance of the tool itself. It's not so big an issue. If it offers good features, I should be able to set it and forget it, so being a bit slow in the GUI doesn't bother me. I'm really hooked on the radlinker way of doing things, and I want custom video settings per application.

Bug fixes...I am running CAT 3.9's on my 8500 because some of the later versions were not compatible with my card and the software (games) that I use...

Bug Fixes ,definately,as I also can not use the newest drivers (4.10) because of the ATI,Punkbuster issue.I am not trying to say it is ATI's fault ,I just would like to see it looked into and fixed ASAP.

i can care less about CCC than other things, i mean yeah CCC is great, but well, if u talk about performance in the CCC why not talk as performance generally?
anyway I voted for New Features, ATI always take out a great set of Features I like ^^
this poll should be check boxes instead of current, i'd like to see fix Bugs as much as new features, but whatever

i would like them to fix the 256 mb bug. As for the CCC better skins would be nice. The most important thing i would liek to see is more performance and stability.

Bug fixes for sure. I wont use CCC as long as alternatives are avaiable, either through ATi old stype CP or Omega(Radlinker).

the way i see it, the poll should have better be called "ATI should focus in the future as the highest priority for Catalyst Control Center"

This is gonna sound a bit (or a lot?) harsh, but I think ATi misinterprets users' interest in CCC (a poll on how many use that could be interesting).
I do understand that ATi needs to bring something new from time to time, but since CCC came out, I don't see any reason to update my card's drivers. Before that I used to see some bugfixes, now all I see is improved CCC resposiveness/reduced memory footprint... Seriously, in 4.10 there are 9 game-related bugs fixed, 4 of them being card-specific.
I know that writing a driver to work on an unknown number of configuration is a tough job (and that's an understatement), but did you guys really need another source of problems (CCC, that is)?
By now you mst have guessed where my vote went...

I think in order of priority
Number one should be Fix bugs(not that I know of any with my setup/software, but school makes it hard to use long enough to find out...)
Second priority should be faster CCC performance/performance in general(aka code optimizations maybe teach the media/uninformed the meaning of this phrase/term)
Third would be to decrease the package size. Remove useless features, etc.
Fourth Introduce New features. I think this could replace number two every once in a while. AKA introduce new feature -> improve performance to happy level -> Repeat.
Fifth/Sixth New 3d previews and skins. Not that big of a deal. I would probably make a free toolkit for the community to make skins (if you haven't already. Don't know I use Omega's modified drivers on my system). Because I am sure there are those willing to do that out there. 3d previews is down here because well ... I don't really look at them that much. ( i've seen a few that were on my Radeon 9800 cd)
