Sources anyone?
I have read and participated in several threads, and have seen some curious posts. I would like to know where everyone's news or source material comes from. Reason being that I would like to read these and better understand your arguments so I don't end up posting something stupid of off topic (as I've seen some do - will not name anyone ) Educating yourself to participate in debates is a good thing people!
My main source is Opinion Journal.
Their articles may be lengthy, but they really get to business in showing their side on an issue, as well as provide links to other credible sources if they used their information.
I realize this is not a debate thread, and as such, NO DEBATING over a source's credibilty please! As long as it's a big site that has many professional news writers and publications (news paper publishing is a big plus too) then list it. This includes any source that is at least not some individual bad mouthing a certain side to an issue. Something that's credible to you is all I'm asking.
American broadcast stations ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX,and CNN all have big websites filled with news (and stuff) you may or may not take with a grain of salt, but they are there and provide us with news to a degree.

I read the main "liberal" Swedish newspaper..(Liberal meaning right in Sweden) because they have the best and most skilled journalsists and analyses no matter if you are right wing or left wing.
They keep correspondents...on spot...everywhere where there is a point in having one.
Left wing papers....there arent many that are good....They have been bought up during the last 20 years and reformed to garbage...whiich is too bad...we used to have a couple of good ones...but...these are rightwing days....
Tv.....sometimes but not often and loads of radio..in fact hours everyday.
Books.
New York times on the net couple of times a week.
Liberation...French leftwing paper when i get hold of it...once in a month...
Links on the net.
If i knew Russian...then id have liked to read Russian press too

Yes, C-SPAN is a big one. And let's not forget Al Jazeera (English site). I remember reading about how their site has been the target of DoS and flood attacks... I wish those stupid lamers would stop....

Felt these needed to be added:
Winds of Change: Superb site run by very professional political writers who even have individual sites/blogs.
USS Clueless: Another goody.
InstaPundit: Big one.
Merde in France French blogger! Sometimes humorous and is written in both English and French.
Also, these should link to other sites on their frontpages, so check those out too. If you're not willing to give your time to read these, you're going into a debate without much fuel. Just going off of what the TV or a few newspapers say is not enough since they can't really tell you the real details (or just don't/refuse since they spin it their individual ways). Also, this forum (DH) really doesn't have the right kind of people for political debate since it's more of a driver/hardware tech-news/support site than anything. Try out a question (if you can) on one of these sites linked above since you'll likely get much better arguments going that probably won't turn into trollfests like they almost do here. I'm sure y'all'll find the articles y'all would want to start a discussion over in these sites. Just a suggestion.
On a lighter note is : Allah is in the house! This site is extremely humorous at times and is updated very frequently. If you are easily offended, please don't check it out since it'll repulse you with strong Allah/Islam satire. If you search for "Allah" in google the first if not two links are to this guy's site. Go ahead, see for yourself, it's freaky and sad at the same time.

www.Worldnetdaily.com
Primarily a conservative news site but they have a lot of liberal opinion pieces in their commentary section. They report a lot of stuff the big news sources ignore.
www.foxnews.com
www.washtimes.com
Sometimes www.newsmax.com due to the fact they are independant and find and report stories that other news sources will not touch.
There are many others but I can not remember them. I will only consider a news story from the smaller independant website if they have good sources to their information. Too many sites out there are just garbage rant sites without a fact to stand on but pretend to be a news site.

cnn.com
I am new here but in particular i find it very interesting how many credible sites one can get with searching google with: the keywords and odf. For example if one wanted to find information on the Patriot Acts, search google or cnn.com or something with "Patriot Act I pdf"
