I got a raise!
At last, it finally happened. I got a pay rise today.
An extra grand per year.
This is the first pay rise I have had in 5 years due to the worldwide downturn in IT growth (according to my managers)
P4 EE and X800XT here I come.

Too True. The operation of the companies is basicaly desktop support and without the likes of me then they wouldn't have a company. Interesting how the managers in these jobs can be payed 3-4 times the amount I get and I'm only one grade below them.
