Sitting here in Virgin Megastores, Picadilli Circus, London... bored out of my mind!

Just trying to find something to do until I catch the train home @ 5:50 (it's 4:35 atm)

Maybe I should go and sit in the first class lounge @ King's Cross - I will do after i've finished this post.

I'm in London, by myself for the first time!

Just went to an open day at Imperial College London - looks like a brilliant university! The Chemistry course there is exactly what I want to do and the accomodation is outstanding! Albeit rather pricey - still though - it's a great price for a mini-flat in South Kensigton with free phone line rental and access to the universities v. fast internet connection for only £35/year - the room that I like (the biggest single room with en-suite bathroom - lol!) is £135/week - quite expensive for university loggings - but you do get value for money as it is in South Ken!!

jo sucks being central. but you can get accom. from around £80 a week. not to bad but still crazy. and how can you be borred in central london. man I just chill out in the park and stuff and watch all the fit birds ahh pigions and stuff and tourists and go trocadero to play some arcades... go china town a little etc etc.

Craig5320 - if you keep out of Mcr central or Chorlton rents are better, even better (cheaper) go for Oldham or Rochdale area with good rail and road links to mcr centre.

lol - the trocadero gets worse evey time I go there... I was limited for time so couldn't really go anywhere and couldn't see a film either.

the trocadero used to be good fun about 6/7 years ago - but it's become so delapodated

Yeah - like I said - the accomodation is fantastic - plus you get unlimited access to the university network + internet connection for only £35/year!!! It's something stupidly fast like 1gbit.

I definately want to spend my time at university in London - and the course and accomodation at imperial is outstanding - I really want to live there
