Intel 82852

Hey All,

In getting this Dell D400, it is a great laptop however the video card SUCKS. It is an onboard intel. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to get some more juice out of it.

Hack drivers, hacked bios, any suggestions?

You have the latest drivers?
That's about the only suggestion I can think of... with no hardware T&L, this is looking like something that belongs in the past, not the present, though ok for business graphics.

Dell have a "fire-breathing" model as well, but it's probably not an ultralight. Not sure if it was the Inspiron - I seem to recall that having Intel and Radeon Mobile 9600 versions...

A friend has a Mobile 9600 equipped machine, and it plays that KKrieger demo very nicely indeed.
