I HIGHLY doubt that any of us have the best around... Maybe on this forum. If not on this forum, than the people with the super-bad-a$$ computer's are hiding in the darkness, maybe trying to squeeze every last MHz and every last 3dmark for an epic a$$-whooping!

If I can get my machine running properly over the weekend, I should hopefully be putting in some good scores. Although this will be in the intel camp.

Yea, I'm re-building my PC this weekend and hopefully re-formating my RAID. I am going to stop using that AS5 and use only Ceramique this time.

there are people here on the forum that just aren't entering......that have amazing systems. But did you guys ever think that they want more people to have some fun for a while? And just sit back and wait for someone that has some scores close to there? I have an AMD Athlon XP and an Athlon 64 system sitting here that would put a smile on your faces......Wildchild has an Athlon 64 system that is even better......Zardon has an Intel system that makes alot of us drool......Snuffy has just about everything you could think of........and THEN SOME.
Cheer up and enjoy the avatars and some friendly competition.

Anyone know if Futuremark have removed PCMark02 from ORB. I haven't been able to upload a score for 3 days and when I try to go in through the project manager I get a message telling me "invalid project type". It looks to me as if they have removed it.

Speaking of the Athlon64 systems. Can any of them compete? PCmark02 has put the brakes on my competing. As it stands now I'm sitting just under Cartmans scores. Has anyone figgured out the problem with 02, or a way to fix the N/A for the HDD results? I have been away for a few days.

Wlecome back driver 7
I haven't had the problem with my Athlon 64. What is it? I've managed OK with '02 inc. HDD scores. Is it a problem with the promise controller perhaps- my hdd's are on the VIA. EDIT - "moot point now see next comment..."
It seems as though futuremark have withdrawn support for pcmark02 so were does that leave us, eh roadee? Unfortunately I've just gained 350 points overall in pcmark02 and now I can't post them.
free-refil- the only problem with pcmark04 is it requires windows media encoder to be installed before it'll bench, looks like you've got two downloads to start....

Yes.....futermark does indeed seem to have dropped the support for PCMark 2002 completely.....and frankly that means that they may in fact drop 3DMark2001SE pretty soon as well...though I hope not. With this in mind......I need everyone to test out PCMark2004 on there systems......and let me know what your impressions are of it.....as well as, if you think that it is a fair benchmark to use. I would also like to know what other benchmark everyone likes.....that could take the place of 3DMark2001SE.......just in case we have to do this in the near future.
I will be awaiting your replies.

Well it's pretty official.... as soon as a product hits the Discontinued list... zero support ...

Really? Are you using the ASUS K8V? Because I am using the Via controllers aswell. They are extremley fast in comparison to the promise. Also are you using raid? If so. What 4 in 1 Driver are you using?

Well on Futuremark's main page, they are offering a package deal of 3dMark03, PCMark04, and 3dMark01SE in a bundle. So, I wouldn't think that they are planning on discontinuing the service.

Aquamark or GLExpress.
Everyone seems to like aquamark. And GLExpress is great. Not very many people use it though.
