Want to OC in Omega 3.10, but how now?
Hello all, i just installed the new omega 3.10's and noticed that there is no more RADclocker on the tabs. Why?
I really liked being able to OC my card, is there a program that will work with the omega 3.10 drivers?

You can still install and use Radclocker. Omega just removed it from his package at the request of the author.

Or, you could download a little tool called PowerStrip. It is a little tweaking utility, quite useful.

Radclocker and 2.504 - to be sure
With previous vesions of the Omega drivers, the readme warns against using Overclocking Utilities, except for the modded control panel controls, later Radclocker was added to the package.
The present Readme at the site, still mentions overclocking with the Control Panel. Is Radclocker still the utility to use, that won't re-adjust Omega changes/settings?
Just want to be sure.
Thanks.

Well after some poking around i see this program called 3DProf. when you install the Omegas youll need a .NET passport account up and running (version 1.1) so this program gets installed.
Then you open the program, make a user profile, then click the tab that says clocking, and the rest should be pretty self explanatory. GG Omega, i thougt you left us HIGH and DRY.

3d Prof comes with the latest omega drivers, so I guess we're suppose to use this instead of radclocker. I don't know, anyways... I made a new profile (in 3d Prof) and in the clocking tap, I raised the core bar up a bit, hit apply. Now, do I have to reboot or what? How do I know if I o/c enough or whatever?
or, should we use radclocker instead?

Well, I d/led RadLinker and have up the settings for the core and memory, just a bit, still using the stock fan. No you don't need to reboot. Keep moving that slider and you'll start seeing the artifacting...that'll let you know its working.

Well I uninstalled a radclocker froma prior omega release because it was giving me an error in the omega install.
Wish I hadnt because now i cant 3dprof to work at all (just want it for overclocking). Have tried to install the xp specific 'r6probe' device and just get erros on the clocking tab, no support or contact info that I could find for the utility either so here's hoping they read the forum:
Error while executing etc/radeon_setclk.exe:
Cannot connect to r6probe
r6probe.lib: error: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.
Hint: There is an installer for r6probe.sys located in 3DProf's application directory
It can be installed from 3DProf startmenu too.
=== Some R6Probe related infos ===
r6probe.sys standard location: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\r6probe.sys
r6probe.sys file date: 12/6/2003
r6probe.sys file version: 1.02.0001.01
R6Probe standard registry key :HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servi ces\r6probe
r6probe.sys image path: System32\Drivers\r6probe.sys
### Now searching for installed R6Probe drivers:
### Found one:
Key Name: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\r6probe
ImagePath: System32\Drivers\r6probe.sys
File Date: 12/6/2003
File version: 1.02.0001.01
### Found one:
Key Name: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\R6ProbeDemand
ImagePath: \??\C:\Program Files\3DProf\etc\r6probe.sys
### Number of installed drivers found: 2 ===
---------
All the files being referred to are where they should be, any advice is appreciated: looks like a nifty utility if it worked.
