If you play Halo, what is the card, the drivers, and the settings you use?

Nvidia drivers 45.33
800X600
Everything turned "on" including vsync.

Just look at the sig. Runs fine at 1280*1024 except sometimes bogs down a bit.

halo settings
Ti4800SE
..default core and memory clocks for now, (until someone could tell me how far i can possibly take it)
AGP 8X en. (duh...)
1024x768 vsync off
medium settings
everything on except for the thing that makes things shiny.
32-36 fps avg.
HALO is a demanding game on the PC.
I didnt think it was gonna be this hardware intensive since it was debuted on the XBOX with a 733Mhz chip and a modded GF3 video card.

In my opinion the game just isn't coded very well, the gfx don't look particularly special yet it runs pretty slow. Plus somehow it has aquired a bug the *cough* beta version *cough* didn't have... on my pc anyway. The sound keeps 'dropping' during cut scenes, usually when it's your character's turn to speak - you're just left with silence until the next clip of speech. Doesn't happen in the beta, I use a SB Audigy btw. And yep i've tried the fps thing (30fps, v-sync, no v-sync) and dropping sound quality to minimum too - no change. Never mind

Halo is a good game but they didnt do a wonderful job at the optimisating stage and its common to see frame dips to sub 20 performance, even on higher end systems if you run at a high res with any sort of AA or aniso.
This point is further backed up by the fact that some people have even put up indepth web guides on how to get the game to perform at a decent frame rate.
Good game not a great conversion, lacks the charm and finese of the XBOX original.

Geforce 4 ti 4200. 1024x768 Max Texture Detail everything else turned to lowest possible setting. I did some benchmarking and found the difference between min and max texture detail was about 2 frames a second. I found Particles cause a MASSIVE drop in frame rate. It is a badly ported game.
