I'll check that

are you using sonar in 'asio' or 'kernel streaming' mode?

I using sonar in 'kernel streaming' mode,
Moreover, the 3535 alpha will still make the keyboard of MIDI out of control, at sonar and vienna soundfont studio.

I'm having issues with kernel streaming as well with 3535 alpha. Any time I try to enable it, my whole system goes down (sometimes to a complete reboot). The previous drivers worked flawlessly for me as well. SMP/WinXPPro/Audigy2.

Why don't you guys try using KX ASIO instead of kernel streaming and see what you get?

Have a similar issue too

...but with reason 2.5. After a while playing with the keyboard (10-20 mins), it suddenly stops receiving midi data from the keyboard. When I restart reason, it works again. But the computer does not stop working.

I was using Kx ASIO driver with 5ms latency, 41KHz. I'll test a bit if it is reproduceable with 48KHz too. Had no problems with older releases and the same settings. In fact it seems that the driver installation resetted the kxASIO settings to 41000 Hz and 21ms latancy.

Gonzo is on a distinguished road

Hi Eugene:
I'm afraid I have to say that I'm having the same thing with midi here.
After about 2 or 3 minutes it stops receiving midi data, (without crashing anything, it just freezes midi input and output from the computer).
If I reset (close-open) the midi ports in use with Midi-OX it behaves fine again for another 3 or 4 minutes, then again...
I hope you can find a solution because this behaviour just appeared in this version 3535a.
Cheers

Gonzo

I'm also suffering from the same problem with midi here, so I guess there's definitely a but in 3535b... Gonzo description is perfect and I can reproduce what he says. I even tested with Midi-Ox also...

ok

so, we have MIDI bugs on -any- system and reboot/hang-up bugs on SMP/HT systems, haven't we?
then, probably, my new SMP-compatible code is broken
I will revert it back to 3534-compatible in the next development release
