Similar to Dom I eat it right off a paper towel. (You don't need to wash a paper towel)

When the pizza is fresh from the oven, I will eat it with a fork until I can hold it and it doesn't sag and drip hot cheese down my arm. I've had that happen once as a kid and it HURT, so the fork deal stuck with me.
Reheated and/or cold pizza is eaten with napkin and fingers.
I'm one of THOSE kinds of people that can't stand greasy/dirty/sticky fingers, it bugs the heck out of me until I wash them. 
Severe skin allergies will do that to you.  |

Finger method. Though, some styles of pizza are made in a manner that is much easier to eat with a fork. I remember once eating chicago style pizza... it was so incredibly loaded, thick, and cheesy that eating it by fork just seemed to solve a lot of problems.

when you have Franks Red HOT sause all over it.. you have to use a plate and fork.... for 1 reason A:It's dripping like mad.. 2nd reason B:you accident inhale the sauce cause you to drop everything and run for the nearest bathroom with a toilet or fountain....and 3...well.... let your own imagenation take off.....

The only method as far as I'm concerned is to hold pizza slice in right hand, bite off the pointy end then fold from centre of base to now not quite so pointy end and stuff. Eat it any other way and it isn't pizza!!
