I'm sorry mate. Personally I'm on RadioLAN. Speed is 1MBit both way and no limit, but the ping sucks. =\

I have similar problems with Adelphia Cable internet. My stupid modem will die on average once every two days, and will cycle between being connected and dead for most of the day. Obviously it's not a problem with the cat-5 cable or my router or NIC; I've swapped them out and switched them around ad nauseum and to no avail. I've even had an Adelphia technician out here to look at it, and he found nothing wrong.

Those dumbasses...

I got lucky. When comcast started really having problems in my area (disconnects, slow server, no mail, etc) we got a great offer from Verizon and switched to DSL. Maybe cable is faster than DSL, but I can tell you one thing, in one year I have only been unable to connect to the internet ONCE, and it was for only a few hours, so I highly recommend Verizon to anyone.

No problems here in Portland Oregon. But what did piss me off, they jacked the price up to like $53.00 from 45.00 not including the cable modem fee. And for it to come back to the price it was at, you need to have basic cable!

Hell no, I stay with DirecTV!!!
