Thro FOURTH stroke of luck and it finally ran out for england - lets face it THREE very lucky goals against Denmark - the goalkeeper own goal for the first - the ricochet off the defender for the second, the poor goalkeeping for the third. Than amazingly the owen goal today was another lucky break to get the goal - seems like you got the Italy luck that deserted them - but I think that there is something more then bad luck going on with the way they were treated. Look at the referee today though - NO WAY Ronaldinho shouldve been sent off - good move by the player to `con` him though.

Dude - it was a straight elbow in the face!
Beckham was sent off (a straight red) in the last world cup for being petulant!
Now ask yourself which is the worst offence

I didnt see the elbow and I didnt see any of the pundits mention it - I`ll look at it again -but you dont think you had ANY luck at all to get the goals against denmark, wether you deserved to win or not?
Is my logic biased because thats what everyone can see on the screen ? - maybe my perception is biased but then everybodys is - maybe including yours - with a good luck england thread?
Fact is england have been beaten by a team superior in every way - words of the pundits peter reid I think - not mine - theres no shame in losing to Brazil ,great as they are playing at the minute.

Amazing how many permiership managers fail too see fouls by their team as well

Like we didn't have much luck against Argentina - one full volley off the woodwork and another palmed away. A lucky goal in football really depends on which side you're supporting. Fact is the denmark keeper made two huge errors - much in the same way that Seaman let in the Ronaldinho free-kick.
so by the same argument - Brazil won by a "lucky" goal

Everyone is biased - and your logic certainly is as demonstrated above. I'm sure that mine is as well

The best team won - no doubt about that. But there wasn't that much in it really.

well of course im biased to a degree, im british/irish, but I dont think alot of the comments you made where accurate, thats not being biased, just speaking the truth. Brasil are the better team yes, and yes the better team won. Brasils weakness is their defence and it always has been. they just normally score more goals than they let in, thats normally how they win. great strikers and midfield. no one in brasil wants to be a defender or a goalkeeper, its the way the country is. they all want to escape the poverty and become a star. anyway this debate .... is hardly worth all this effort lol, its only a game
I think brasil should win this now, they have the confidence and I dont see any of the other teams beating them, unless Germany suddenly come good. the way this world cup has gone, I suppose anything is possible. maybe south korea will win it, wouldnt that be a turn up for the books?

why is the pregnancy rate so high in Brazil?
Because they can lob Seaman from 40 yards.

Elbow in the face?? Which game did you watch?
Seriously I thought he was sent off for the tackle.
Everybody on BBC said it was a real bad decision from the referee.

My god - a bad decision in a world cup game! Try telling that to the likes of Italy and Spain! This world cup is rapidly becoming a farce
