Yeah I was expecting to run around all day looking for a copy, but the local gamestop got a lot of extras in because I live in a real yuppie health-conscious town. First place I tried was blockbuster, and the guy said there was someone there when they opened and he bought every single copy they had. I guess people are gonna hit ebay with them.

My wife and I have been talking about it, it looks really cool to me. I'll have to look around and see how availability is around here.

I'd like to get one. It would help me keep track of my health at least. Currently I burn a minimum of 3500 calories a week just from one activity. This could help get me flexible enough to take my game to the next level.

The Wii fit is pretty cool. Come on people lets not be lazy just go out and play. Although I must say some of the stuff they have you do is pretty cool.

My wii got stolen a few months ago would have liked wii fit though, and the fact that its such a wide audience for it, anyone would like to play on it is fantastic.

lol agreed. i see better results from conditioning + parkour than i do from using wii fit, played at a friend's house and it just didn't buzz me at all.
I've turned into a real adrenaline junkie, now excuse me while i go outside and piss some old bints off by vaulting everything in sight

I ordered one earlier, going to have it tomorrow. Oh, a Wii too. Just for the Wii Fit though, for proper games I have my Xbox 360 and PC.
I just hope the board can handle extra weight as it is supposed to.
Or else the board is going to be one expensive piece of garbage.

Still waiting for stock to arrive around here, I've not been overly trying, just if I'm out and about I keep an eye out for one. Not paying more than the RRP that's for sure.

This I will never understand. Why is there such a stock problem in the UK and I think the USA? In Greece you could go to any games/electronics store and buy one from the first week without any problems. Is it possible the local Nintendo branches to artificialy create shortages?
Anyway, I will let you know tomorrow if Wii Fit is any good :-p

I don't know, it's quite ridulous really, anywhere that does have them has bumped the cost to £120! that's almost 240USD I'm not sure if it's artificial or even whether it would help Nintendo. It's possible as people wanting it will eventually get it, and it creates a lot of hype. Maybe it's something that the governing bodies need to look at.

I got mine this morning. Installed it about 1 hour ago. Didn't try Wii Fit yet, just played Wii Sports for about 40 min. I am way out of shape. I was sweating like a pig by the end of the 40 min. I love it.

You know at first I don't think I'd have ever considered getting a wii fit, let alone a wii, but I finally took everyone's advice and decided to start excersing. Started walking and doing regular diy work around the house, yard work etc and I'm surprised, I'm actually enjoying it. Might consider buying a wii just for the wii fit since its gotten so many good testaments.

Thanks for the encouragement dude, but maybe saying "farm work" than "yard work" would be more accurate since most of the work I do on a friend's acerage, but anyway thanks dude and I will keep up the hopefuly good workout.

Well out of all the WII products and games I would say the sports and fit games are the best. I think Wii should stick to that instead of these crap games they keep releasing.
