Reputation listing
The listing for any rep... good/bad/nuetral and wrong that are listed in the users CP is well, short... and doesn't appear like you can view the entire list.
Is this is a limitation of Vbulletin.. or just an option set?
It would be nice to go back and view them all imo, specially in the cases where i've gotten bad rep.

Don't worry, Judas is used to necro.
Would also be nice to see the names of who neg rep you, but I doubt it will happen.

Listing names would cause problems, and would deter people from giving negative rep.
About the history, I can’t speak for the programmers, but my guess is the limit isn’t going to go away. When you think of the number of people around here, and the amount of rep that is accumulating, it doesn't make sense to allow a total history of rep for the sake of efficiency.
With the current status, there is plenty of time to read and understand your rep comments. I think having a back log of rep provides little benefit, other than for nostalgic purposes.

The limitation is a vBulletin one, and probably coded like that for a reason, the comments are still held by the database, but why they chose to only show you the last ten or so I don't know. Unless they change it in a future release it won't be changing here at DH i'm afraid.
As for showing names, that isn't going to happen. Staff are able to view who left comments for users etc, so if you ever have an issue with a users comments towards you. Don't hesitate to contact a member of staff who will investigate it for you. They will NOT however reveal who left the comment. So please don't bother staff trying to find out who thinks you're a hottie.
Thanks
Craig

Lol, one thing I'd like to ask team is why does the color of the reputation bar (for people who have lots of rep) change shades from dark gray ticks to lighter ones and from green bars to blue ones in serene heaven??? I've also noticed the same thing in the user cp where you can see the last ten comments and all, why is this so??? Thanks in advance for the answer.

Just differences in choice of style, they can be whatever I decide to draw them as, they get lighter just to draw attention to the amount of rep someone has, same as they go to red bars if a user is in negative rep etc.
Thanks

Judas, i am just wondering, but will you want to turn your reputation off (meaning that other forum members cannot rate you in any way no more) if admin and forum software allows you to do it?

no i don't want to turn off the rep for myself or anyone else... i rather like it.
Specially when the user that gave me bad rep is clearly wrong..... it gives me something to laugh at occasionally.

there should be a way to see who we've given rep to. that'd be nice .
the primary reason for this, is because sometimes i want to give somebody rep, but have no idea how many more people i gotta give some rep points to before i can return to that person.

in my own point of view you are wrong right there already.
why anyone gave you a bad rep points if he or she still thought you were right?
i know this is not the place to continue on this, 'cause this forum section is for admin, and i'm already way offtopic.
i thought i would let you say what you want to say and leave it with that for once, lol, so i'll do that.

I'm refering to the occasional cases where they gave me bad rep stating i was wrong or incorrect on something, clicking on that link takes you to usually the post that they figure was wrong, rereading it and then researching it again still proves that i was right in specific circumstances...
In which case, thier justification for giving me bad rep was actually wrong to begin with.

Those animals.
I try not to give negative rep on forums where you can do positive or negative, unless the person receiving the negative rep is simply attacking someone else personally. Flames and whatnot are fine, just keep it civil. Aside from that I don't really give negative rep, just let responses do my talking for me

List of events:
1. -bad reputation
2. -PM "Hey, you $#^%$&, your mother $#&$&$, f$&% you for giving me negative rep.
3. -About 20 similar PMs.
4. -The "conflict" continues in the forum.
5. -I ban both of them.
You can understand why this will not work well, right?

...I don't think that you are a hottie either, so there is nothing to worry about!
The reputation feature is there mostly for fun, it is nice to use it but not to abuse it. It is needless to say what happened to the last guy I caught abusing it...
