Even new WDK was written when I watched a document of Microsoft if the build of the driver who worked in Windows2000 was possible.
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/DevToo...k_install.mspx
non-support is disappointing, but will use 3538m.
Thank you very much.

Thanks for the update! I'm glad this project isn't dead although it's not that active anymore it's a lot better than being completely dead for sure.
I'm really looking forward to a Vista x64 version though in the future but right now XP SP3 works fine but please concider releasing such driver and you'll have my eternal apriciation, thanks.

Out of curiosity, has anyone who has installed 3540, NOT had an issue with the "Wave / PCM" slider in kxmixer?
<edit>
Nevermind, Eugene was able to reproduce the problem, so...

The wave-slider in the windows mixer is muted, not in the kx-mixer. Due to a custom DSP-Setup with ProFX, this issue is not visible (or audible) as a problem. All sound is okay.

Right, this is the issue I mean, but I am not sure why using ProFx should make any difference (i.e. if the wave slider in Windows mixer is muted, then I get no wave audio (kX Wave 0/1), whether I use ProFx or other plugins).
In any case, kX is still usable (whether using ProFx or not), since you need only unmute the slider in Windows mixer (and adjust volume), and not touch the one in kxmixer (as the slider in Windows mixer will become muted, or set to 0 volume when doing so).
The main thing I am wondering about, is if anyone did NOT have this issue, since Eugene has said that he was unable to reproduce the problem (and I know several people (at least) do have this issue).

Ahh now I see Since I never touch the Windows mixer I overlooked this issue first and I thought, the DSP routing was the reason for heaving sound on all outs... So I´m one of these people with the issue.

Ok, thanks for rechecking
Yeah, although it effects output, the issue is not really with output, it is with wave input (i.e. Wave 0/1 - Fxbus 0/1) being muted.
<edit>
Eugene is now able to reproduce the problem...

SB Live! 24-bit
I just downloaded the KX Project. I used to use it when I was running a 5.1 Value card. I've got the newer 7.1 2496 surround sound card now. Will the KX drivers work with this card? So far I can't get it to install.
Thanks.

I joined just to post this, I would say that their are tens of thousands of people all over the world that would benefit from bring the audigy series on line in Custom Macs. This would be great for the osx86 community. If you need a pool of testers when your ready pm or email me. I can also be contacted at insanleymac username is JaS. Also on irc.osx86.hu I can be found. Good luck and I will check back to see what the outcome of the poll is.
