64... I didn't know you could run 32 bit explorer.
And I got the TV Tuner working with the CD it came with somehow... Just gotta get audio working now.
And... done!
I really think the problem with the SM Bus drivers is because of the registry values... How do I fix an "Error while opening key" message?

i was looking through the logitech quickcam 1150_x64 infs (qc1150_x64\Drivers\x64)
and you could try adding your device id and see if it works
example for ELCH64\lELCH64v.inf
find
Code:
[Logitech.NTamd64]
%PID_092D_DD%=PID_092D.XPAMD64,USB\VID_046D&PID_092D
change to
Code:
[Logitech.NTamd64]
%PID_092D_DD%=PID_092D.XPAMD64,USB\Vid_046d&Pid_0850
%PID_092D_DD%=PID_092D.XPAMD64,USB\VID_046D&PID_092D

Neither seem to be working...
The modem is HCF, not HSF, and Conexant has no HCF 64-bit drivers on their site that I can see.

I've still got XP Pro x68 on my secondary HDD, so I've got it set up to dual boot. It'd just be nice to make a full switch.

Wow I did not know there were so many Webcams the Egg lists 18 from Logitech alone! 16 from Microsoft, 15 from Creative and then a Dozen or so other makes. some cheap with USB and 1.3 megapixel, like this Envision
One thing with USB you would think the drivers would be okay.... maybe not.... Okay I just went to their drive page and saw nothing 64 or Vista just XP. I bet some of the Logitechs will be compatible though.
I know it is hard to give up on a part that you have grown accustomed to.....and me I'm just cheap... No WebCam.

Well, I don't have a regular camera or anything, and it's got a nice long cord... plus I've done quite a few programming jobs that require some form of USB camera system, so it's nice to have something to test with.

And a new problem crops up! Every time I try to shut down, restart, log off, etc... I get this.

You got some logoff script that isn't there.. Best thing to do is open Group Policy Object editor and remove the script from there.

There aren't any listed. I already tried that.
More info about the problem:
It shows Running Logoff Scripts for a little while, gets that error, and after a long time it finally shuts off. If I terminate Explorer.exe with the Task Manager, it resumes the shutdown sequence just fine.

[s]Sorry for the double-post but this is getting quite annoying. Anyone got any ideas? I don't really want to reinstall my OS now that I've got everything how I want it.[/s]
Fixed it. Looked through my registry and found some keys trying to run scripts that didn't exist.
