Thanks for the quick fix! However, these won't install either :/ I get the exact same error: 'Code 28'. The error just says that the drivers were not installed.

Yeah, I also tried using Driver Cleaner but that didn't work either.

Is the Pax-Audigy-XP-v5.00 for use on my Audigy 2 card?

You stated Audigy and I am checking if that includes Audigy 2.

The new logo and name is a very nice upgrade!

Thanks.

Update: I tried to install this set and they did not recognize my device.

Hey Robert,
I have the same problem as Rezier, the Pax_XFI_Xpress_Audio_V1.01 setup can't detect my X-fi Xtreme Audio Notebook. Of course it didn't really bother me when the error message came up, what bothered me is that I installed the drivers manually, rebooted, but the driver itself didnt work either. In the device manager there was a yellow "!" by the Pax X-fi, and it said "The device could not start" (or something similar).
The hardware ID for my card is:
VEN_1102&DEV_000A&SUBSYS_11021001&REV_1000
If you need other information as well, I'd be happy to help.

Hi,

so i rebuild my XP SP3 32bit and installed X-Fi OS V5.0 and then Software Suite 2008 (without the driver) and everything seems to work and sound nice like everytime.
Did not noticce differences between Suite 2008, OS V0 and OS V5.00.
Every 3 drivers are working great for me, but I have to play some games with the V5.00 to make sure.
Nice one

I think I can safely say that we appreciate all the hard work you are putting in to the drivers!

System Specs

Vista x64/X-FI Xtreme Music here.
Tried Pax-X-FI-OS-Driver-V5.00.rar: drivers are no installing.
Tried Pax-Audigy-XFI-Vista-V5.00.rar - drivers still not installing

Used DriverCleaner before install(X-FI now showing up as Multimedia Controller in Device Manager).

Tried also manually localizing the drivers ... fail again.

Has anyone installed this with succes on Vista x64 ?

Hey robert I wanted to ask you if you have any idea what CTAudSvc.exe does?

It's a creative labs audio service that gets installed with drivers. I haven't noticed any differences when its on or off. No where on the internet could i find any information on what this service does. Just curious
