Gold - Race Driver GRID
The GRID Website has the brief announcement that the next installment in Codemasters' Race Driver series is gold (thanks Gamer's Hell). The page points out this forum post that clarifies this is for Xbox 360 and PS3, though a later post announces: "We got Games For Windows approval yesterday and went gold today."

I actually grew to like this demo and think I'll get the full game. Not sure if I should buy a gamepad or some sort of adapter for my PS2 controller cause keyboard control sucks.

Must be...made me go out and buy a gamepad adapter. So much easier to drive now! Unfortunately the Dual Shock2 doesn't get force feedback so I'll probably get something better.
Gonna have to pop in Dirt and play that until GRiD comes out.

i played the demo most this afternoon and i liked it. did a bit of research into the game and im a bit disappointed though. no customization other then a paint job, no tuning, no parts upgrades, no nothing.
if it wasnt for the complete lack of customization, i probably would have picked it up when it came out.

I checked out the demos for NFS: Most Wanted and Carbon which did have all that customization stuff and I felt the driving was terrible in comparison to GRiD. I mean we here to race or play dress up with cars?

true, but i do like being able to tune my cars to my own liking, and even NFS allows you to do that.

If the game required you to fine tune your car for every race, there is no way I would consider buying it. That's just me though.
