Frontlines: Fuel of War

I finished yesterday the single player campaign on Normal. (the game i won on the DH competition)
I wasn't taking notes but it felt as long as the CoD4 campaign.
Which is short.
The other bad thing is the use of the sniper rifle. Not on its own but because the enemy can see where you are even when you are sniping at them at 1 mile away and they can reach you with their own assault rifles and hit you, makes it pointless. In the one sniping mission I only used the weapon during the first time through the campaign.

Yes, I am playing the game for a second time today.
I had lots of fun. There are some very memorable moments in the game. My favourite moments were during the MBTs battle, while there were nukes dropping in the background and artillery shelling on the battlefield, very intense.
Or when assaulting certain high rise buildings/offices in Russia, or when sending drones to kill a turret, or all the vehicle battles.
The graphics are very beautiful, though they do feel sometimes they are at a lower than 1080p resolution

The light machine gun is probably the best infantry weapon against infantry. About the same accuracy as the regular assault rifle, but more punch to the enemy and more ammo.
The stationary deployable rail gun you can use in a couple of missions is just superb, the coolest weapon in a modern FPS IMO.
The shotgun is very powerful and long(ish) range, but it usualy goes hand to hand with the sniper kit, so i avoid it.
The MP15? is kinda useless. It has high rate of fire and it is considered a stealthed weapon, but with the enemy knowning where you are as soon as you fire once, useless.
The mini tank drone (as I call them) are fantastic, watching the machinegun on it just destroy everything (infantry and sandbags mostly) is so sweet.
The AI of your soldiers is (or looks) quite good too.
Oh yes, one more thing, parts of the buildings and enviroment are destructible and it just makes the game so much better. I wish more FPS games had them.
I haven't tried online yet since I don't have a Gold subscription, but as long as the single player part is concerned I give it a solid 7.5 I would give it another 1.0 if the campaign was longer and/or there were more things to do as single player, as for example are in Rainbow Six Vegas series.

The first time I finished the campaign I played it on Normal and it was good. Now I play it on the hardest difficulty setting and the game is even better. If you are good with FPS games on the 360, I recommend playing the game on that level.
