Sound Help

I have had a set of razer barracuda's for awhile now but my onboard sound card didnt have enough slots to fully use the actual 5.1 surround sound. So today i bought a DIAMOND brand Xtreme Sound 7.1/24 bit sound card. Ive got everything working well in windows vista but in game i cant get the surround sound to work in game. Left and right speakers work but not the front / rear or bass. If anyone can help me it would be appreciated

Welcome to DH

This forum is for the kX Audio driver, you would be better off asking your question in the following forum (or a Diamond support forum): Audio General and Technical Discussion

Aside from the above, DirectSound3D was removed from Vista, and that is likely what is causing your problem (with games that use DirectSound3D). I would check with Diamond and see if they have any solutions for you, and/or check the web sites for your games to see if they have any updates for Vista (i.e. maybe adding OpenAL support, etc).
