either ive lost almost all interest in technology, which probably isnt too far off the mark, or this whole site seems like its been pretty dead the last 4-5 months.

anyways, heres pics of the vette.

almost done

still trying to figure out what im going to do about that hole. also have to do a bit of welding on the mount on the right. after thats done i can rust proof and then paint it. then next week my differential can go back in.

after that, the wait continues for my new wheel bearings so i can finish rebuilding my trailing arms. once those are done, the new rear suspension can go in and the rear end will be done.

more before/afters.





the cross member is painted and hanging in my garage right now, and the lower mounting is also finished and ready to go. just need to bolt the two halfs of the differential together tomorrow and then i can paint the other half and bolt everything up.


rebuilding this though.... it scares the hell out of me. ive read article after article on it and even have a decent grasp on the subject, but everything has to be just perfect. tolerances have to be down to .004 inches at the very most.
