FPS doesn't go above 60 after Omega Drivers (ATI)

I installed the Omega Drivers just a few minutes ago then I tried to see if it had any effect on Counter-Strike: Source but I realized my FPS would just go to 60 / 61 and not go any higher..

Before I installed Omega Drivers I was getting more than that so something is wrong.. do I have to change something or what? HELP

If you are having issues with the FPS not exceeding 60, you need to disable vsync. I believe the option is under 3D settings -> All Settings -> "Wait for Vertical Refresh"

If not look around, its there somewhere. You should also be able to control it in game, but you might have to select "Use Application Settings" within the Catalyst Control Center.

Good luck and welcome.

Vertical sync will cap your FPS to whatever refresh rate your monitor is running at. Disable vertical sync and this should remedy your issue.

HHAHA im a moron, i didnt see any replies, his problem was fixed by time i replied lol
