Looking for a Video File Converter!!!!
Hi People,
We recently were on a tour to some beautiful places and have a video record of this. All my friends are wiling to watch this on a DVD on the big screen but I need to convert the video files into DVD format. Can anyone provide me with a software/site that can make me watch this video with my friends as we wish!!!!

Hi!
If you have nero suite it can do that and there are a ton of freeware software on the net. Google AVI to DVD to find them. Personally I haven't used any of those since I got nero and one pro video editing app that I have legit license, it does it all the way from (H)DV tape to DVD/BR/video files.

It would be useful to know what Operating System you have (XP or Vista) and what file type the videos are (.avi .mov etc)

I use Adobe Premiere, but it can hardly be helpful, as it is a professional and expensive software. Try Googling something up. All the best.

Not true. In Windows XP Movie maker can only do wmv files. In Vista you have Windows DVD Maker that will do the job.
