Can the XFX 8600GT XXX Aplha Dog Edition play Crisis and CoD4? If so on what settings?

Supposedly the 8600 GT can play Crysis in Ultra high, just without AA, at 1024 x 768 resolution (or lower, forget) and no other fancy things.
I've seen videos. Looks smooth.

Yes, you can play both games with the Geforce 8600GT XXX, but you will get a very low framerate in Crysis (especially in latter levels in the game and when using the high and very high detail levels). You can play Crysis with decent framerates by using mid graphical options. As for COD4 you can play it with a decent (playable) framerate with the Geforce 8600GT triple X without compromising the graphics (too much).

A friend own an 8600 GT XXX... He plays Crysis all in High, at 1440x900 with shaders in medium... The frame rate isn't too high, but its fair playable... 1024x768 and High settings are the option for that card... with an average CPU and 2 gigs of ram, of course

for COD4, if you're CPU/RAM is not bottlenecking, then 1440x900 or below with high on everything but 0xAA 0xAF would get you a healthy FPS..

I play COD4 almost maxed on most settings. ( it took a lot of tweaking and some OCing) It looks pretty good now for me, Crysis does suffer slightly and to be honest if i could do it over again I would have waited another two weeks when some of the 8 series cards fell in price to my budget level.
